College Credit by Exam - Many colleges will allow you to challenge certain courses rather than sit in a classroom all semester -- and you get the credit! Then, there are exams you can take like DSST, CLEP, ELE, CPEP and more that allow you to get college credit just by taking an exam! Credit by examination programs enable you to apply your knowledge toward college credit at participating colleges. Earning credit by examination works like this: you study college level material and take a final exam, if you pass the exam - you get college credit!
