Course Description
Contractor License Prep - This course covers the core laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to being a contractor and conducting business as a licensed contractor in most states.  Topics include safety issues, contract and lien laws, business insurance and withholding requirements, bonding requirements, types of licensure, ethical practice and more.
Course Requirements
1. A desire to study the laws, rules and regulations pertaining to contractor licensure prep.
2. A willingness to learn how to conduct an ethical and legal contractor business .
Course Goals
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Know what is required essentially to become a contractor and how to seek out specific licensure requirements in your state.
Apply ethical business practices as a contractor.
