Course Description
The English Composition course helps students understand the fundamentals of expository prose through writing, analysis, and editing of short essays. It also covers aspects of revision: editing, proofreading and revising. Emphasis is primarily placed on the improvement of students' fluency in writing expository prose, thus supporting an outcome of confidence derived from writing acceptably and effectively at the college level.
