Course Description
Painting Ocean and Seascapes teaches the art of painting the free, wild, fluid, dramatic and beautiful nature of open water, its array of colors and the elemental influences of light, dark as provided by land, sky, wind and sun.
Course Outline:
Lesson 1:  Painting Water - This lesson introduces the experience of capturing water on canvas.
Lesson 2:  Mysterious Sea Silhouette - This lesson depicts the mysterious aspect of the sea, as it is impacted by the darker tones of the night sky.
Lesson 3:  Sunny Beachscape - This lesson shows the playful nature of the ocean waves as it touches the earth's sands.
Lesson 4:  Dramatic Wild and Free Oceanscape - This lesson captures the wild and free nature of the ocean, as it crashes upon rocks.
Lesson 5:  Colorful Seashore - This lesson accentuates the colorful prismatic effect light has on the seashore.
Final Review - Stormy Sea - This lesson brings together light and dark elemental effects, impacting color and mood.

This is not a graded course. All lessons and assignments must be completed with a score of 70% or better to pass the course.
